Support group – here, a group of people set up to offer help to people who are experiencing a problem eg bereavement and whose members often share the same experience and/or have professional training to offer help

Bereavement Support
The following agencies can give bereavement support to individuals, families and schools:
Samaritans; Childrens Service; Child & Family Service; Victim Support; Community Police; Oakwell and Jersey Hospice.

Catholic Pastoral Centre
Also, the Bereavement and Loss Support Group provides one to one meetings at the Catholic Pastoral Centre, 19 Val Plaisant, St Helier JE2 4TA. This service is available to all people in the community.

Community Bereavement Service
The Community Bereavement Service is available to adults and children of all ages in need of support, whilst coming to terms with the death of a relative or friend. The Service will support anyone, regardless of the nature of the death.
