Hospital League of Friends

This League provides help and support to both patients and relatives. A visiting service for long stay clients as well as the organisation of outings to help towards making a difference to a persons stay in hospital.

Services provided by volunteers include:

• Hospital shop- telephone 759826
• Coffee shop in General Hospital
• Trolley and JEP rounds
• Clinics
• Tending patients' flowers
• Emergency transport
• Visiting patients
• Trolley service at Poplars, Willows and Overdale

Assistance is offered to relatives who have difficulty in arranging transport to and from hospital
